A Review of 2025: A Year of Provision, Purpose, Progress and Planning
As we look back on all that we experienced in 2025, our hearts are filled with gratitude and awe at all the Lord has done—both in our family and at The Farm at Bible Grove. Your prayers, encouragement, and generosity have been a steady blessing, and we truly couldn’t do this work without you. This year brought extraordinary provision. Not only did we get our newly donated Airstream fully outfitted and ready for guests (video below), a generous $25,000 donation made it possible for us to begin constructing the camper covers—an enormous milestone. These post-beam-structures not only protect the Airstreams from the pine needles, wind and rain but are designed and being built intentionally so that converting them into future cabins will be a simple and natural next step.
But, the most incredible and unexpected gift of all came from our growing relationship with one of our neighbors at The Farm. Over the past two years, Bob and Marilynn have become family to us and now, they have become legacy partners with us as well. Bob and Marilynn own 12 heavily wooded acres and a beautiful home adjacent to The Farm's 27 acres. They have seen first hand what God is doing with our hard work and response to His calling. In response to the Lord's prompting, they have decided to donate their land and home in deed to The Farm for future growth and preservation. They believe in our mission, purpose and vision and this donation not only furthers all three, it secures that their legacy will live on for the generations to come. Their donation also creates a larger footprint which protects our guest's privacy, seclusion and tranquility from future use and development.
We were also humbled to report that God has prompted the hearts of a few of our friends to tithe monthly in support of our efforts at The Farm at Bible Grove. In addition, a supporter, Dwight, launched an independent fundraiser on our behalf, and watching someone take up this mission with such love and passion, while battling a cancer diagnosis and treatment has been deeply moving. Again and again, the Lord has reminded us that this work is His—and He uses His people to sustain it. We do not take this lightly. We see it as a sacred trust before the Lord and are committed to stewarding those gifts with great care, integrity, and prayer.
A New Chapter for Our Family
Our home is as lively and joyful as ever. Olly is officially walking and proudly keeping up with the big kids. Harley, Ruby, and Lily have thrived this year and recently wrapped up a wonderful study on the Civil War in homeschool. Henry remains our resident adventurer—wild about tractors, four-wheelers, and anything with wheels.
These days are full, sweet, and sanctifying, and we remain so grateful for this season of life. As we step into a new year, Brittany, the kids and I are also stepping into a new phase of life. We're filled with anticipation and excitement for what lies ahead. We're embracing change with open hearts and trusting in God's guidance every step of the way. After much prayer, we believe the Lord is leading our family to sell our Franklin home and move to Lexington, Tennessee, where we can commit to the farm full-time. This is a big step of faith and a significant transition for our family. But the call back to my childhood sanctuary of Bible Grove is strong.
With our hearts full of hope, we eagerly anticipate the opportunities and adventures that 2026 holds. May it be a year of growth, connection, and abundant blessings for us all. We would be deeply grateful for your prayers—for a smooth sale of our home in Franklin, for His continued provision and protection, and for a peaceful transition for the children as we follow where God is leading.
Ministry NEWS!
Many of you know that, two years ago, Brittany and I also founded THRIVE DISCOVERY at Southall Church in Franklin, TN where we have served as Recovery Ministry Leaders since 2021. THRIVE, while not directly associated with The Farm at Bible Grove, is certainly yoked equally with our mission and will benefit one from the other.
After a lengthy leaning and application process, Brittany and I have been invited to join THRIVE DISCOVERY with Innovative Ministries International (IMI), a 50-plus-year-old organization of more than 600 independent ministries world wide. In Janurary, we will be ordained as pastors and we are honored that the leadership at IMI and ACT International have identified us as leaders in Christian discipleship and recovery and found us to be examples worthy of the honor and title of pastors.
THRIVE DISCOVERY is now meeting weekly in three churches in the Middle Tennessee area. For information on how you might start a THRIVE DISCOVERY life group of your own, please CONTACT US.
